Leadership Lessons from a Skydiving Accident Survivor

What would you do if one ordinary day changed your life forever?

On this episode of The Energize Podcast, I had the honor of talking with Jason Dennen, one of the most resilient people I have ever met. Jason survived a catastrophic skydiving accident that left him with life-threatening injuries, 20 broken bones, collapsed lungs, and a heart injury doctors said most people do not survive.

But his story did not end there.

Jason chose to rebuild his life, become a better version of himself, lead with more compassion, express appreciation more often, and keep pushing forward. One of the most powerful parts of this episode is hearing how he completed a triathlon just one day before the one-year anniversary of his accident, after being told he would probably never run again.

This episode is about resilience, leadership, purpose, workplace culture, and the power of not letting someone else define your limits.

Listen to this episode and be reminded that what you are going through today may be preparing you for something greater tomorrow.
